The last thing I would EVER want to do is screw with the master plan for the 2026 White Sox. That's pure nonsense. We have no idea what will be going on with this team seven years down the line.

Exactly. I don't care about 2026. I care about now, 2020, and 2021.

The 2026 owner might actually be willing to compete!

Jeez, are we going to start this again? Not long ago, we were being assured that Eloy was so upset at the Sox for not promoting him that there was no way he'd do anything but get to free agency and leave. And it has turned out that Eloy was nowhere near as major-league-ready as people were insisting.

Better watch it with the accurate descriptions here. Not too many folks here are willing to admit that HR's aside, Eloy is just a mediocrity.

And they had to give him an unprecedented, record breaking, and completely unnecessarily risky extension offer just to get him to forgive them.

Unless the White Sox start offering players that have never played in the majors $100 million extensions as practice, they're going to lose the bulk of these guys they **** over with service time.

Team Jimenez pulled one over on the White Sox. Hopefully the White Sox learn from that experience.

Tim Anderson was on the injured list for five weeks and he still has the most individual errors in MLB. When is it time to admit that Anderson isn't the starting shortstop for pennant contending team?

I need to go back to my self-imposed exile from this forum.

Iím not admitting anything of the sort until we actually are a pennant-contending team.

OMG! A 22 YO player who has absolutely been lights out at all levels of the minors and has flashed greatness in the pros while struggling with injuries and fan expectations isn't blowing up the league. THE HORROR!

Eloy is putting up better numbers than Moncada was when Moncada was on #BUSTWATCH. Relax.

Lights out hitting at the lower levels. I can't wait until he assumes the full-time DH role.

Seems to be catching on to some of the nuances in LF. Twice in the last couple nights he's given way to Leury on flyballs they both were after yet was in position to make a play on the ball in LCF. That's exactly what you want/expect from your LF.

I just want him to find a groove the last 1/3 of the season and start to consistently show what he was flashing in June.
