Default Astros throw combined no-hitter

They'll be a tough out in the playoffs for sure.

And they did it using Sanchez and Biangi (sp)? two of the castoffs they got from Toronto. Sanchez had lost 13 straight games in the majors but tonight doesn't allow a hit through six, walks two and hits one. Granted it was Seattle but still.

A combined no-hitter speaks more to the futility of the team getting no-hit than the achievement of the pitchers doing the no-hitting.

The Astros also combined no-hit the Yankees a decade ago.

C'mon - both factors have to be present in some way.

I am impressed with individual no-hitters.

Team no-hitters? Not so much.
