I also saw that Sox had interest in Jeff Keppinger....I'd be more for that. He can play all IF positions and fill in admirably at 3B.

Hannahan bats lefty so my fear is that the Sox might be thinking platoon partner with Morel. This would be a platoon that would feature all defense with no offense. I hope this is not the case. You just can't get away with no offensive power production from 3B in the AL.

Hannahan also had a bad back last year so the comparisons with Morel are accurate.

I don't think you can put Flowers at C, a Hannahan/Morel platoon at 3B and Beckham at 2B and expect to contend for anything. That's too many holes in a lineup, too much pressure on the other six guys to produce every day.
