Sweep would have been cool, just didn't have it today. It happens.

Someone needs to punch Valverde square in the testicles.

Disappointing end to a good series.

His Gamecast photo is especially punchable.

We all waited, and then we all acted at once.

Mostly flat game from beginning to end. Stupid baserunning by Dunn and untimely hitting from just about the whole team. Sale needs to come out sharper, way too many 6+ pitch ABs--this rotation is thin enough already.

This upcoming series is a big one. We've played well against everyone up to this point but now it will be interesting to see how they come out against at home against a team that should be pretty beatable. Baltimore has been playing pretty decent so far but still...we should be thinking 3 of 4.

Good fight from the guys today even though they were outplayed in every facet.

Please learn how to win on Sundays. Please.

Win two out of every three, and the rest will take care of itself.

Two out of three is nice...Keep it up...However, I would not use Ohman anymore against right handed batters, he simply cannot get them out..!!

Sale is looking to have the same problem Danks had his first few years. It's a common problem for young pitchers to be inefficient and try to strike everyone out. It's a problem he will fix as he pitches more.

Danks had Buehrle to teach him and fix him. Sale will now have Danks to do the same job.

Didn't get to Porcello and Detroit's lineup is one you're not going to hold down forever, even though Cabrera went 0-12 in the series.

We still need to find a 2 hitter. Morel is really struggling out there.

Nice to see Dunn come back after the Golden Sombrero on Friday to get 3 doubles between yesterday and today.

The forgotten guy in the rotation finally gets to go tomorrow.

The loss today takes nothing away from the start. So far so good.

Pitching has been great, defense has been great...hitting...well there's the pitching and defense.

In my mind now comes the real test. Sox have usually played well against the good teams and lost far to many games against garbage.

Well the next 10 games are against mediocrity defined.

They need to win at least six.

We'll see.

Lip
