Default 2019 Uniform Changes

The Marlins have completely changed their uniforms and logos.

https://www.mlb.com/marlins/team/uniforms

The Tribe has eliminated Chief Wahoo from all uniforms and caps.

I'm a fan of both the red alternate jersey and the cap. Navy alternate has changed from Indians script to Cleveland block style like their grey road jerseys.

Relieved that Cleveland has finally made the move- long overdue.

The Cardinals unveiled a new powder blue alternate that I guess they'll be wearing at home?

I think the Marlins new colors/look is a step in the right direction, however I think the home whites should say "Marlins" and not Miami. That's a pet peeve of mine when home teams don't display the team name, rather the city. I didn't like it when the SOX did with the pajamas in in the 70s either.

I like the Tribe's red alternates and I like the Cardinals alternative as well. I think they wore a home white version of that jersey a few seasons ago.

Per Cardinals Twitter feed, those will be worn for Saturday road games only.

I’d hate to be their equipment manager. Powder blues, blue caps when playing teams with red as a primary color on the road. What a headache.

Hope the Padres go back to their brown and yellows full time

Oh they're wearing them on the road?? That's awesome, I'm a big fan of that move then.

I wish the Sox would put this back on the sleeve of the travel grays.

I'd like to see them add "White Sox" below "Chicago" like they had with the 70's road uniforms

Good. Weird color combinations are part of the culture of their city. I miss the teal, but the Marlins should always be in weird colors that no other team would even think of using.

Agree! I always thought this was the coolest looking road uniform in all of baseball.

Here's the 1968 Road uniform, and how it might look if it were added to today's version as opposed to the powder blue uni's and white script as shown above.

Default Uniforms

Indians should add a great logo similar to the Blackhawks. The White Sox need an alternative road hat with a CWS logo.

What do you mean? What's a CWS logo?

I do love that uniform, the blue, and wish the White Sox would develop a jacket that would reflect those older jersey designs. An alternate hat design would be great too. Something with a 'C' on the front.

something like this (red accents/blue base):

or this: maybe this:

(work on the 'C' font)
