I'm attending Game 1 of the NLDS in Washington on Friday night. Strasburg against the Cubs.

Is it just me, or does ESPN seem to be having trouble with its camera work/direction tonight? They're cutting away at odd times and to wrong camera angles, and we're missing some chunks in the middle of plays.

Greatest Arsenal goal I have ever witnessed. Chills to this day watching it.

That's the incredible thing about playoff baseball: watching two dominant starters go in there and lock it down for eight or nine pitches.

Texted my brother in law and told him he was welcome for the win since that was our bullpen that held it for them.

To be fair, the Yankees are Twinkie kryptonite, and have been pretty much all my adult life; surely that played into the mental aspect of the game. But yeah, the Yanks' bullpen was spectacular last night.

Man, it's bad enough to get eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. One game and you're done is just brutal. See ya, perpetual losers.

The contrarian position is that at least they seem to get there a lot more than our favorite team does.

Was at the gym yesterday evening and looked up at one point to see a guy walking out in a White Sox Kahnle jersey. My gym is in Kahnle's hometown.
