Default RIP Roy Halladay

His plane crashed in Pasco County, FL, near the Gulf of Mexico. He was 40.

RIP Doc. One of the most consistently dominant pitchers of the last 20 years.

Damn, he was a beast and reportedly an all-around awesome dude.

RIP

Awful day for baseball. The guy was a gamer and knew how to get the most out of his talent. He'll be missed badly. RIP Roy.

Time seems to pass more quickly as we get older. It seems like it was just yesterday I was reading the sports section of the Rocky Mountain News about this pitcher for Arvada West High School named Roy Halladay. Most folks out here always wished he could pitch for the hometown Rockies but it was never to be.

RIP Roy and condolences to his wife and sons.

Horrible news! It's been a bad couple of weeks for the MLB family with Daniel Webb's ATV death and now this.

He was one of my favorite pitchers and fantasy baseball players. RIP Roy.

Scumbag Michael Felger says Roy Halladay “got what he deserved.”

Link

This is truly awful and beyond disrespectful.

Do we need to really play the Blame the Victim game? A wife and two children are without their spouse and father much, much sooner than expected. That is the tragedy here.

As a father, I just cannot fathom knowingly throwing caution to the wind, to that degree. Do I do things that could be considered dangerous? Yes; I run in the early AM, and it's always in my mind as I cross every street.

Just a horrible, sad story.
