Default Strange schedule

Can't remember ever seeing this before, next week the Sox are in Detroit for 3 games, come home for 5 games with KC and Minny and then head back to Detroit for 4 more games.

I don't remember anything like that either. Remember, in the middle of that KC/Minnesota homestand, they also have to go to Minnesota for 1 game, which is a makeup of one of the 3 games snowed out in April. Nice little 1-game road trip.

Also bummed about the StL and Pittsburgh series being mid-week.

I mentioned this last September. Only pointing that out because it means we are less than one month away from the 2019 schedule being released. It will be fun to see who the Sox play from the NL.

Probably missed it because last September we were on a cruise, got off the ship, came home and Irma hit us 2 days later and had no power for a week.

If the schedule makers stick to their rotation, which isn't guaranteed, the Sox should play the NL East again next year. Last time, they played the Mets on the road (Matt Albers big hit) and Miami (no memory of this). In 2019, they should travel to Atlanta, Phily, and Bryce-less Washington.

I don't know what had me thinking that were playing NL West next summer! Looks like I'll be having a few road trips from RVA and knock off a few more parks off my checklist. Looking at Philly and DC.

We played the NL West last year, Central this year, so the East is on-deck for next year.
