I am sick and tired of seeing the White Sox pitchers allow the opposing team to get back into the ballgame the next half-inning after the White Sox take a lead.
That can only speak to the lack of intestinal fortitude on the part of the pitchers.
If I was the manager, anytime that happened I would fine the pitcher(s) responsible for allowing that situation.
It must be disheartening for the rest of the team to see that happen.

Not sure managers can fine players for failing at their job. I doubt the CBA allows it. Not sure where you'd draw the line either. Would Rodon get fined for today's 3rd inning? What about the fact he then went on to pitch 5 more innings of scoreless baseball while allowing only 2 more hits? Should he get a bonus for that stretch? What does that say about his intestinal fortitude?

I realize you are mostly just venting and no one likes to see a team give back the lead they just built or at least see it greatly reduced, but these things happen to all teams and this year's Sox features many pitchers who won't be on the team next year if even in the majors.

It's not the lack of intestinal fortitude, it's just that they aren't very good.
The starters haven't been good either, about 2 months ago some media outlet rated our starting pitching the worst in MLB, IMHO, the starters have come around the last few weeks except for Covey.
