Steele Walker has signed for $2 million. This is over-slot. Per FutureSox:

Quote:
The White Sox currently have a pool deficit, versus the combined slot values of the picks already signed, of $189,500. Nick Madrigal (1st round) has not yet signed, nor has 14th round pick Davis Martin. The club can theoretically go as much as $529,495 over their total pool (5%) and only be penalized with a "tax" of 75% on the overage.

According to Future Sox, it looks like all draft picks through round 32 have been signed except for Madrigal (who only just completed the CWS yesterday) and 14th round pick Davis Martin.

...here's an article about Walker signing with the Sox:

I believe I read elsewhere that he's expected to be assigned to Great Falls.

He'll reportedly report to Kannapolis as a SS. Makes sense, as they've got an opening there ever since Laz Rivera was promoted, and Winston-Salem currently has Roman and Yrizarri in addition to Rivera in the middle infield. The other option would have been to demote Yrizarri, but then Rivera and Madrigal would be competing for playing time.

The Sox also signed 33rd round pick Bryce Bush, who was considered to be a tough sign away from Mississippi State. Perfect Game rated him the 52nd overall HS player in the class of 2018, and 3rd best 3B. Potential steal?

Sounds promising. Always good to have options at the hot corner.

The Sox have also signed 14th round pick Davis Martin (pitcher). It looks like the only pick that went unsigned was 34th round pick Alec Valenzuela.

Perhaps. He may have picked in such a late round because he was expected to go back to college and not sign. It can't hurt to have some lottery ticket options from the later rounds.

The Braves end up not signing their first round pick Carter Stewart (#8 overall). They will get another first round pick next year.

The (prospect) rich keep getting richer. Do the Braves pick at the same slot that they did this year?
