Post Game interview;
Madden said he is not a big believer of guarding the lines.

I feel your pain, JB. It does hurt to hear Cub fans gloating about their 4th season in a row of being in the thick of it. Yes, I am bitter and jealous that the Sox did not enjoy several years of success and contention surrounding the 2005 season.

But the part that bugs me the most is Cubs fans jabbering on as if they have ALWAYS been good. I have pointed out to a few Cubs fans that their boys averaged 99 losses a year for three years running before they got good. It doesn't always shut them up, but it makes me feel a little better.

Apparently, this past series with the Dodgers proved the Cubs are the NL team to beat.

Consider the source.

Bullpen implosion with the bases loaded and the Reds put up a 5 spot. Go on to win 6-2. Warmed my heart when the grand slam was hit.
