I don't post much about our teams affairs. I believe Hahn is a good GM when he has the opportunity to do what he wants to do. I wanted a complete tear down prior to when they went to sign/trade Dunn, Shark, Melky, Frazier and the bunch. And at the time all the affiliates felt like the Sox/Hahn had struck it rich and were contenders. I thought they were too. But alas they weren't

Now they have finally start to do what I wanted them to do all those many years ago.

The comparison between the '89 Sox and the 2019 Sox is interesting. What is equally concerning is the prospect of labor strife again having a negative impact on the Sox in 2021.

There is so much money pouring into MLB right now I don't think the owners are going to risk a long term stoppage.

I would not underestimate the ability of owners to damage to their own long-term self interests.
