That damn dog's gonna win PTC again, which always indicates how the evening went. Bleah.

So much for the winning streak. Made Lynn look like the second coming of Tom Seaver.

I only really care for guys who might matter.

Boy it's hard to digest #10's play post allstar break.

An Eloy promotion for the sake of taking the pressure of this kid? Or how about a trip down to Charlotte.

Just tossing thoughts out here. I don't know how sending him out there every night to get defeated like this will ever get him right.

It's not like he's killing any pitching at all right now, but maybe barely sending him out there against LHP would at least be good.

Matt Davidson needs more work out of the bullpen. They need set up something more structured with the remaining two months. There is absolutely no downside.

Exactly what I just came here to say after seeing the highlights. That breaking K of Stanton was nasty and he was hitting 92 with the fb

.698 ops after tonight and he continues to be a K machine. Getting to the point they need to consider sending him down to clear his head.

FWIW, Moncada's three strikeouts tonight give him 157 for the season. Per Phil Rogers, he's on pace for 227, which would break the single-season record of 223. Officially count me in the camp of worried Sox fans.

Agreed. A few weeks back we could come to the conclusion hitting RH he has almost no chance out there. LH he's been terrible of late too.

I don't know.

Maybe let him finish the season and see what this pencils out to at the end. But having that K record hanging over this kids head sure doesn't help him one bit.

His babip is 317 as well so luck cannot be blamed. Send the kid down to get a message to him that everyone expects better.

As this rebuild plays out, my earliest fear that dealing Sale was a knee jerk reaction to the sliced uniform incident. I think the Sox tore down way too much for what they gave up.

Would you be saying this if Moncada was hitting .300 right now?

Let him finish out the season up here. Evaluate the switch hitting at the end of the season. I am sure Abreu is a positive influence on the kid.

You have to see the type of player Moncada is.

You cannot keep looking back on this deal.

Agreed; our version of Ohtani except not as good. :')

This role revision brings a type of flexibility to a roster not often seen.
