Have to subscribe to see the scouting reports on those other then Sale. I like Goldstein's list much more than Rogers'. Might be surprising to some that he has Eduardo as a 4 star prospect, but he has been high on him for a while. I'm not sure I buy the bat yet, but he could be a valuable piece. |

Wondering if he projects as a starter or to the pen, and how long it will take him to reach the higher levels of the system. |

Petricka supposedly has a very good fastball and can pump it up near 100. He also has a decent curve and a serviceable change. He's somewhat inconsistent and doesn't repeat his mechanics though. The aforementioned reasons are why some think he's destined for the pen. He's still very projectable, and KG falls in love with guys like that. With the lack of decent SP prospects, I'd imagine he keeps starting for the immediate future.

Sale was #25 on MLB.com's Top 50 prospects.
Needless to say that he was the only white sox representative. Link During the countdown show, Mayo mentioned that Sale hadn't used his changeup as a reliever which he said was his best secondary pitch. I'd be interested in seeing this changeup if it really is as good as hyped. |

Let's hope Escobar continues his rise so that he can become an A-level prospect and centerpiece for a big trade.

Don't know about that. Alexei is a FA next year, and it won't hurt to keep Escobar in case we can't re-sign him.

I'm pretty sure he's not. I think he and Viciedo have contracts that make them free agents after 6 years.

Correct, he becomes arbitration eligible next year and 2013, will be a FA 2014.
