As expected, the signing is just about official. Walker will be headed to Great Falls. Hopefully with the Cal picks sometime soon.

Excellent. What are the chances they sign the 5 remaining guys in the first 20 rounds:

8: Ian Gardeck
10: Ben O’Shea
13: Chadd Krist
14: Mark Ginther

Gardeck seems to want over slot and it will probably go to the deadline. O'Shea says he is going to attend the University of Maryland, but he might be posturing for more money that the Sox probably won't give him. I expect Krist to sign. I have nothing on Soptic or Ginther.

Rumor has it that Soptic signed and is headed to Bristol. Still not confirmed though.

Are the SOX going to sign any of those high schoolers they took late in the draft? I really liked their approach to this draft, but if they don't sign any of those guys...what was the point?

36th round pick Cody Winiarski, and 23rd round pick Mike Marjama signed.

Sox also signed 30th rounder Brandon Parrent. Laumann noted in his interview yesterday that he's someone the Sox are high on. It sounds like he received over-slot as well.

Also in the interview Laumann stated that it doesn't sound like Gardeck or O'Shea will sign. I hope they work out something with Gardeck, as he was a great pick.
