It's similar to when the Heat introduced the big 3 to Heat fans at a "private party" for fans that was shown quite a bit on TV.

I really don't find these as horrible as you all do. Maybe it's because they've got the 80's Miami/GTA Vice City look going on. It's something very different and I think they look pretty cool.

A tweak here or there could make them much better, but other than that I've got no major problem with the design or color scheme.

I think the home whites should say "Marlins" instead of "Miami". I guess they're pushing the "Miami" instead of the "Florida".

Sort of like the pajamas the SOX wore in the 70s that said "Chicago" on both the home and road jerseys.

These might be the ugliest unis in pro sports. I really don't understand how teams keep trotting out these hideous things when a simple google search will yield plenty of results for fans/designers that do mockups for team logos and uniforms that blow the pro ones consistently out of the water. Who the hell are they hiring to do this stuff? I swear the average teenager with photoshop could do as good or better than this tripe.

The uniforms like these (I guess I'm including the Oklahoma City Thunder and the first TB Rays uniforms, too) confuse me. Not only am I confused by what the designers and Marlins staff were thinking, but I'm puzzled by the plurarlity of colors floating around in their brand now.

Orange, Teal, Black, Yellow, White? Pick two, maybe three colors. If anything, the third color should be reserved for piping and/or highlights. I understand the neon-glow of South Beach. I understand that these colors work for the Dolphins as well. In fact, they pull them off fairly well. But there's simply too much going on with these uniforms. It looks like Dan Marino vomited a serving of sherbet on some cloth.

The "M" looks like the brand for Miami's convention center, or airport. I feel like this is a reflection of the "swag" culture my generation is guilty of gracing our world with.

Whatever Swag culture we brought in, it has nothing to do with these shambles.
