Looks like some bats are coming to life, and hats off to Peavy for hanging in there.
I knew Lowe's luck would run out sooner or later with his brutal peripherals. Paulie @ .396!!!!! WOW!! Get those brooms out tomorrow.

October26 - Thank you to the 2005 World Series Champions Chicago White Sox! October26 - Twenty-six years ago, I married my husband on October 26. Since that day, we have been blessed with a wonderful family. Then, on October 26, 2005, when the baseball gods bestowed their good fortunes upon us, we saw the White Sox win the World Series. An incredibly talented team of grinders made every Sox fan's dream come true. My family and I celebrated with reckless abandon. And now, we look forward to that day when our White Sox will once again be World Series Champions! ![]() |

After Kipnis' second homer pulled teh Tribe to 8 - 7, Peavy and the bullpen retired the last 14 batters.
Depsite the rough day for Peavy, the bullpen was not over-taxed. They should be in good shape for tomorrow |

Hawk was crazy today, must mean the Sox are doing good things. When do we start the MVP chants for Paulie?

He not only deserves to be the starting 1B in the All-Star game, but the MVP recognition has to grow. He will not hit this high all year, however it seems he has never been this good with pitch selection before. Give credit also to Dunn, Rios, and AJ for Konerko's season. Dunn's OPS, Rios going to all fields, AJ's so-far career year, and Tank's power show have suddenly made the 3-7 part of this lineup tough to pitch through without something happening. De Aza gets praise too. Having a solid lead-off man that has several offensive weapons for the first time in ages also helps. |

I know it's early and it's a long season. I never try to count my chickens before they're hatched, but I can't help but wonder, are we witnessing a Miracle on 35th Street? Did anybody expect Dunn, Rios and Peavy to be this productive? I sure didn't. Hopefully this can keep up the rest of the year.

Paulie hitting .396!?
That's "Chuck Norris-in-a-slump" type numbers!
