Unfortunate coincidence that just when John Danks goes down to the farm for a rehab assignment giving him a chance to play with Jordan...Jordan gets the call..is there a one-danks/roster maximum?...I am sure both brothers will live with it...

Assuming John and Jordan are on the active roster at the same time, I believe this will be the first time the Sox have had brothers on the team since Dick and Hank Allen back in the early 70's.

About time we give the kid a chance, he's batting .302 at Charlotte.
If he does well up here, we might not see Fukudome again in a Sox uniform.

I can't say I really even remember Fukudome even being in a Sox uniform. He has been about as productive as Manny's brief stay here.

You're forgetting about Vance and Rudy Law.

Robbie and Sandy Alomar, Jr. in the 2nd halves of both 2003 and 2004.

Damn, you beat me to it. The funny thing is it was technically 2 stints for Robbie since KW traded for him (and Everett) in 2 consecutive seasons.
