Reed can't close several days in a row, if the situation arises.

I don't think there's any question that the closer role is Reed's to lose, but I do wonder who would be next in line if Reed falters or is hurt.

Based on some situational usage last year, my guess would be Jones, barring a horrific sophomore slump.

Well last year it was a Crain/Thornton shared job depending on who was hitting for the opposing team. I think it would be safe to assume nothing would change.

I actually would like Jones to take that role up-front. But Reed will be given every chance to lose it as you said. None the less, a very deep bullpen with the only thing lacking is a shut down closer at this point. |

He won't see a save situation IMO.
He's a GB guy who throws hard, doesnt walk many, and can get a K. I like him to start innings, or come in looking for the DP

Contract details are in, according to Ken Rosenthal's twitter:
http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2013/0...lindstrom.html That's a really team friendly deal. |

Cool pic of Snoop and Sale. Bittersweet to see him in the AJ jersey, but I've got to say the man has taste.

It's a 2012 jersey, not an AJ jersey.
