1. They're getting it out of their system.
2. They're the Royals, the other teams are sending their A and AA guys to the games. 3. They changed their name to "Blackhawks."

They must have played the Sox 11 straight times to get that record.

It's possible that the Royals are playing to win games against teams that really don't care about playing to win. It's possible that young players trying to make the team and make an impression are performing so well as a group that the manager doesn't have to play to win to generate excitement where none would otherwise exist in the KC fanbase.
If the Royals get off to a quick start, as some teams do after winning a lot of games in the spring, people will say the Grapefruit League performance was meaningful. If the Royals struggle in April, as some teams do after winning a lot of spring exhibition games, some people will point to the exhibition season as meaningless. Some Royals fans will complain that they shouldn't have wasted all their wins in the exhibition seaon that didn't count. |

I think it's the same as being 0-11-1.

We can joke all we want but until the White Sox prove they can beat KC, I cringe at seeing any news that involves the Royals in a positive light. They've proven they can own us when it counts in the regular season.

This definitely proves they are the bestest MLB team of evar. Just like the regular season crowns the best team automatically, and no playoffs ever have to be played. Because as we all know, the Tigers and Giants just got lucky. Irrelevant stats FTW!

The 1985 Bears were 0-4 in the preseason. They were saving it up. The Royals need to slow down.....
