Default Koufax Relieves Magic Johnson

As someone having had the honor of seeing him pitch, I thought this was pretty cool.

I thought that was pretty cool. If I was at the game, I would have thought it was kind of strange that Magic Johnson would have himself thow out the first pitch so I credit Magic for being able to see the humor in this. Although that must have been a spine tingling moment when Koufax walked out to the mound.

Don didn't trust the no-look pitch.

I got a spine tingle just watching the video but he's always been my favorite non-Sox player of all time.

To be fair, Johnson only owns about 3% of them or something like that. So he's not exactly a dictator. More like a piece of the puzzle that gives the ownership a likeable public personality who is really a perfect fit for fun things like this. He's kind of like the ownership's ambassador to the fans.
