Though I now mostly take public transit, I've parked in Lot C many times using cash. The people who wave you into your spot can be a bit obsessive-compulsive about getting your car in close (to fit more cars) but no one has ever been rude. And the one who takes your money always said "Enjoy the game."

Here's the initial promotion schedule from the ticket plan booklet they gave out at SoxFest.

Based on that inverted W, Sale's bobblehead will need Tommy John surgery before it actual gets distributed at the game.

Anyone get the survey today asking to rate various ballpark promotions? It's like it was sent out as a direct result of this thread.

Some of the new ideas: Michael Jackson Night, "Sing-A-Long" Night, Grandparents-and-grandchildren night.

Also asked to rate old favorites like Mullet Night and Halfway to St. Pat's.

That's fascinating. I wonder why I had a different one than you. At the beginning, did you mark that you recently took a survey at Soxfest?

I got one about a 'hardy weather fan' night. First 5K at April games under 50 degrees gets a free winter hat that is only a giveaway.

I really like that.

The Chicago White Sox often offer special events at home games. Here is an example of one:

2005 World Series Team
It had been 88 years since the White Sox and the City of Chicago could claim a World Series championship before the 2005 team broke through in stunning fashion. Their magical run included a 99-win regular season and remarkable 11-1 postgame record as they brought home the title to Chicago. The White Sox welcome back and honor players from that unforgettable squad with special ceremonies, ceremonial first pitches and video montages honoring the team’s heroes.

On select nights throughout the season, the White Sox light up the city sky with arguably the best fireworks show in Chicago. The Chicago White Sox often offer special events at home games. Here is an example of one:

Hardy Weather Fans
The first 5,000 fans to come to a home game in April when the temperature is below 50 at first pitch will receive an exclusive “Foul Weather Fan” stocking cap from the Sox. These are only available at these April games and will not be sold at the ballpark. The only way you can get one is by proving your cold weather commitment to the White Sox.

The Chicago White Sox often offer special events at home games. Here is an example of one:

Dog Days
Dogs just might be man’s best friend, so the White Sox offer the opportunity to bring your best pal to the ballpark. During one game in April and another in September, fans can bring preregistered dogs to U.S. Cellular Field, enjoy a pregame parade and then sit in a special dog section in the outfield. Pet owners and fans also can visit various pet vendors located in the unique outfield “dog zone.”
