How many teams have spring training in Arizona these days? I can remember when les than a third of the teams trained, now it seems like half do.

I remember for a long time it was the Giants, Cubs, Indians and then the Brewers and then Mariners. Not sure if the Padres were always there. The western expansion teams went to Arizona.
Dodgers were in Florida for a long, long time. Arizona seems more efficient. |

The weather is much more predictable. It almost never rains in Arizona. Players don't enjoy the lack of humidity.

I wish the Sox would never have moved from Sarasota. Or just stayed in FL.
FL is a destination unlike Arizona. |

The Padres have always been in Arizona. I believe they first trained in Yuma back in 1969.
