I'm not too sure about this move. Have you heard/read if his defense has improved?

Also, does Sanchez go to SS and Saladino to the bench, or Sanchez to the bench and Saladino stays at SS? Or is someone being demoted or released?

Sanchez is bouncing back a bit this year - I wouldn't push him to the bench. Something will have to give, though.

In the game tonight, Johnson played 2B, Sanchez played SS and Saladino played LF.

In the grand scheme of things, Johnson and Sanchez are important to get max playing time, Saladino, eh, not so much.

I think Sanchez is only 21-22 y.o.- still a very viable prospect-

Saladino is a poor man's L. Garcia- scrappy/grinder, but not much of a prospect-

True, but I always thought Saladino could make a decent utility type player. But yeah, in the current scheme of things, with all of the IF depth we have, it's a long shot he'll ever make the bigs.

As an aside, Saladino being moved to LF shows just how awful our AAA outfielders are.

What's the view of Sanchez's defense at SS?

With our need for a LF (assume Viciedo moves to DH in 2015), need for a starting pitcher (or 2), a closer and a LOOGY (with no help on the way from AA/AAA for any of these holes)- I wonder if Hahn is considering trading Ramirez as part of the rebuild?

Sanchez is only a year older than Tim Anderson- wondering if part of the logic of getting Micah to AAA is to give him and Sanchez time together?

Chris Sale is the starter and Adam Eaton is leading off tonight for the Knights.

EDIT: Update - Through 2 IP Chris has 5 K's and 1 BB. 31 pitches/20 strikes. Adam has a stolen base.

After Tyler Danish got called up to WS, Thaddius Lowry made his debut in Kanny with 5 IP and one run, 4K. There is plenty of potential with him.

What's going on with Davidson? Does anyone have any insight at all on his massive drop off in production in his second year at AAA?

Hahn was quoted as saying it was because of a deep bone bruise in his hand and possibly because he expected to be on the big league roster coming off the spring that he had. Hahn said under those circumstances it's not unusual to see a player struggle in Triple A.
