I'm going to say the one who was a #1 draft pick w/ 1.5 Mil. signing bonus. Or was it 1.6?

My man! I see Josh "D for Defense" Fields is leading the poll so far. Could it be there's a lack of faith in Joe Crede's new swing?

I had never heard of the pitcher before yesterday's outing.

Josh Fields (the 3rd baseman). But I don't think that will be until '07.

Other than the three-run bomb by C-Lee, Josh L. Fields was dominate that day.
His career ERA in minor leagues is around 2.50. He's 25 and looks confidant. Nice curveballs and breaking ball. This is in the light air of Arizona.

His curve ball was sick. A few times, it looked like he was throwing a wad of flubber. I still believe Josh D. will see ML action first, but this pitcher has promise.

I say the pitcher, because he'll probably get a cup of coffee this year. But the 3B probably has the better career ahead.

I'm sitting here quietly reading WSI posts, trying not to wake up my kids. Then I see the picture above and bust out a loud laugh.

VERY FUNNY!

That "bomb" he gave up was totally wind blown. Lately the wind in AZ has been crazy. Fields looked very good.

You mean we're not the only team to benefit from gusting winds?

Two quick hits:
1. Great Sig! LOL!!
2. The kick ass Sox cap on Van Gogh's dome is the one I received in the mail about a week and a half ago... I've been wearing it everywhere. Yeah!

I have that jersey. The third baseman will see action first, but both of them will get a taste of the big leagues. And if they are up at the same time? HILARITY WILL ENSUE! Thought it was bad last year when Ozzie called for the wrong pitcher?

Fields, Fields and Ozzie will be like the new 3 stooges.
